Campus Resources
Center for Spatial Technologies & Remote Sensing
Faculty, researchers and students of CSTARS actively apply remote sensing and geospatial technologies to
research problems in a variety of disciplines. The Center is a valuable campus resource for the University of California, Davis as well as government
agencies and private industry. Physically located at the UC Davis campus, the Center houses high-powered computers, software, equipment and personnel
to best utilize data from a variety of sensors - both multispectral and hyperspectral. These facilities provide readily accesible support to staff,
students and visitors requiring imagery and technical advice to address research questions.
CSTARS projects include research on Yosemite, Tahoe, wetlands, and cotton.
